My name is James Horst, a Mount Forest based real estate agent with Royal LePage RCR Realty. I am here to make sure your move is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

I am passionate about helping my clients find their perfect farm, home, or investment property, and I have a strong commitment to delivering top-notch customer service. I know that each client has unique needs, and I will take the time to understand them and offer customized solutions to fit those needs.
About James
I was raised in a Christian home on a small dairy farm in Center Wellington Township, driving a horse and buggy as an Old Order Mennonite. I am very comfortable around farm animals, and I’m not afraid of hard work. I am still part of a Mennonite church and try to honour my God by serving others in all areas of my life.

I now live in the beautiful Mount Forest area, with my wonderful wife Kaitlyn. We are excited to put down roots and grow our lives together. In fact, we are just gave birth to our first beautiful baby, and we could not be happier doing so in Mount Forest.
We both enjoy travelling and I love snowboarding. One day, we hope to combine the two by exploring Europe and taking some extra time to snowboard in the Swiss Alps!

I have work experience in many other fields besides selling properties in Mount Forest and Southern Ontario. For those looking for a farm, I am well-versed in agricultural properties, including dairy, pig, laying chickens, and turkeys, as I worked with all of these on our farm over the years.

I believe this gives me a unique advantage when helping my clients find the right farm for their needs. I also know residential properties and country properties very well. I spent several years working with a custom home builder, so I know the mechanics of a home and am familiar with what it takes to build a country home. With my home-building experience, I have the insight to look for potential issues that others may miss.

Hi, I'm Tim Horst, a Realtor with Royal LePage RCR Realty, proudly serving Mount Forest and the surrounding communities. Real estate has given me the opportunity to combine two things I enjoy: working with people and helping them make confident decisions during some of life's biggest milestones. I grew up on a country property and spent my teenage years working on my family's dairy farm. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, honesty, and following through on commitments. Before getting into real estate, I worked in construction, helping build everything from chicken barns to residential homes. That hands-on background has given me a practical understanding of how properties are built and what to look for when evaluating them.
